Motivating teachers
Main goal of preparing the PhD dissertation is to study solutions for motivating teachers working at the teacher training universities. Teachers constitute the main basis of education in schools and findings of the PhD dissertation show that educational drop-out is an important problem of the educational systems around the world and it should be addressed well by the researchers in preparing PhD dissertation. Society of Iran is also losing a huge amount of its national funds due to drop-outs. Concerning role of the traditional non-flexible methods of the past time, carrying out new researchers in this field seems to be necessary. As learning new sciences and techniques is only possible by utilizing new educational methods, and also with regard to essential role of the teacher to achieve this goal, understanding teacher, identifying his/her needs and motivating factors could be valuable for the learning system and improve efficiency of our educational system and is discussed in this PhD dissertation. In preparing this dissertation, we normally use the descriptive method of information collecting, library resource and also interview with the teachers and managers at the Farhangian university. In preparing the PhD dissertation, researcher aims to qualitative description of the research, in addition to enumerate theories regarding motivation, solutions for enhancing motivation, motivating factors of teachers and also attributes of the motivated teachers. The author of this dissertation tries to address the issue of increasing motivation, correction and improvement of the teaching methods and also organizational, financial and internal factors which are effective for motivation. Accordingly, teacher is also informed regarding manner of effectiveness of the learning programs and opportunities
